Something New for 2022

December 4, 2021 By Maria

How many emails and social media ads have already targeted you with a message promoting the fast approaching New Year? 🧐

Have you received a coupon code promising to help you achieve all of your 2022 goals? 🙋🏻‍♀️

Are you already planning to make 2022 your best year yet? ✅

Or are you a “I don’t make New Year’s resolutions because I’m always setting goals for myself” kind of person? 🙃

Whether it’s every day, week, month or year, goal setting is an important practice. Sadly, most folks have a longer list of goals they haven’t achieved than those they did. Often, those not achieved originated on the 1st of the year.

Since New Years is the perfect time to reset and establish new goals, I wanted to provide you with a tool unlike anything you’ve probably ever seen before, to help you make your next set of goals more likely to stick.

Author James Clear makes it clear (no pun intended….ok, I admit it….pun intended 😋) in his best selling book, Atomic Habits, that in order to achieve a goal, you have to establish a series of habits.

Now, before you abandon this post because ain’t nobody got time to read a book before the New Year, relax, I’ve got you covered 😌

In less than 30 minutes, you can listen to the 4 laws to help you set and maintain good habits. Applying these laws will have you checking your goals off your list faster than Santa can check his list twice! 🎅🏼

Click HERE to listen to a summary of Atomic Habits and learn these 4 laws.

  1. Make it Obvious
  2. Make it Attractive
  3. Make it Easy
  4. Make it Satisfying

In the words of Dr. Seuss,

“You’ll never get bored when you try something new. There’s really no limit to what you can do.”

In 2022, try something new to make your goals and resolutions stick!

And always remember Philippians 4:13,

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” 🙏

May God bless and protect our country and everyone reading.

Spread the love and share Project Breadcrumb Trail with your family and friends this holiday season.

(Subscribers are #1 on my Christmas list!) 🎄
